The Pearson VUE Trick (PVT) is a means of determining whether or not you have passed your NCLEX exam without waiting for an "unofficial" or "official" result. This trick can be done fairly soon following the completion of your NCLEX exam, with most test takers trying it the same day if not within the same hour as having finished their exam. Hoping the best for you! The PVT or Pearson Vue Trick works by trying to reschedule the test. If you "passed", then the system won't let you reschedule the test. But, if you didn't then you might be able to reschedule. If you try the PVT too quickly, then there might be trouble with results. I tried right after I finished the exam and got back to the car when I saw the email and got the good pop up. I received the confirmation of completion of my exam like 30 minutes after I finished. From my understanding you’re supposed to enter your card info with one off digit. The “good” pop up would say something along the lines of you already registered and they’re unable to register you at this time (you passed).
